1) Some receptionists need to have greater empathy when dealing with patients wanting appointments. Currently, they come across as bored, uninterested and surly. This lets down the great work being done by the doctors and nurses at the practice. 2) It is still very difficult to get a doctor's appointment within a reasonable time. Anything over three days is cause for concern and anything over a week should be simply unacceptable (I had to wait approx 12 days for an appointment). Maybe the practice should stop taking on new patients if they are struggling with current capacity.

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to feedback. We are sorry to hear that you had to wait 12 days for a routine appointment. We are in the process of recruiting more GPs. We offer routine telephone appointments with our GPs. Patients can normally receive an appointment within a week. We run two daily walk-in clinics (between 9am-10am and between 3pm-4pm) and there is a duty GP available for our patients to speak to on the telephone throughout the day. Thank you for your feedback on our reception team. Our practice manager meets with the reception team regularly. He will raise this at their next meeting. Thank you again for taking the time to feedback.

Dr. Jewels and Sarah were just fantastic when i had a rather difficult time with a procedure. They kept me informed throughout and we're both professional and friendly which is a wonderful combination. They were also very thorough and i felt very safe in their hands. Dr. Jewels called me later in the day to see how i was which was just lovely. A thoughtful, lovely touch and even more so considering that i am sure she was pressed for the time that day as i had gone over my time slot quite considerably. Both sarah and dr. Jewels were truly great and was grateful to be in their care.

I turned up for the walk-in clinic as I needed to see a GP that day. I was seen immediately and the process was seamless. Thank you!

I appreciate the difficulties you face regarding the increased numbers of patients. Nevertheless, I recently experienced disappointing care simply because I could not make an appointment with the doctor I had been seeing of late (it would have been a 6 week wait to see her with an appointment). The doctor I did see (still took more than two weeks) did not appreciate my current mental state, leading to an immediate recurrence of some of my more problematic symptoms shortly after my leaving the clinic.
